Branding, identity and playfulness for a new sports academy

The concept of sport branding is revealed through marking out an oversized, giant football pitch spread across the school grounds. The overscaled nature of the design means that it becomes abstracted but is still recognizable as a sports motif. The design will form edges, lines and contrast, adding a playful dimension to the landscape.

The school buildings zig zag through the landscape and are integrated into the external spaces through a series of courtyards that can become teaching spaces, relaxation areas and ecology gardens with educational bias.

The performance area is a flexible space to be used for events and school gatherings. Giant screens for projections create rooms between them, making it possible for multiple events to happen at the same time.
